Chicago Shining
QA Multi-Platform Social Media Publishing
Start from an idea or from media. Then pick Vertical video (Reels, Stories, Short, thumbnail) or Scrollable slides (carousel / album). YouTube slides become a rendered video.
Drop one MP4 up to 1.5 GB. Studio skips music and voiceover, makes the 3D cover, picks a 7-day window, and queues Instagram and Facebook Reels + Stories, YouTube Short, and a TikTok draft. Large files upload in parts and compress automatically — you can close this tab after the upload finishes.

Normalized states hide scenario implementation details while preserving actionable status.
Write or pick a brief, then Promote to production. No review email is required. Add photos first if you want new footage on the request.
Pick an idea that’s already in the queue, or write a new one. This does not start publishing.
Name it, pick Vertical video or Scrollable slides, then drop the media you have.
Finished video (publish as-is) is in the Home wizard and always uses Vertical video.
Open Production Requests you can still edit. Promoted work leaves this list.
Studio stage, render, and review update automatically while this page is open. Published and scheduled pieces stay on Platform pipeline.
Click an output row to watch the render, see the photo package, and read the caption. Studio state refreshes automatically while this page is open.
Review and refine the current platform creative.
Listen to the current mix, adjust below, then save for the next preview render.
After you post from the TikTok inbox, paste the public URL here. The email link still works if you prefer it.
Shared defaults. Individual slides can override these values.
Voiceover, normal music, and music-under-narration are independent controls. Voiceover starts at the existing 100% render level.
Platform mapping remains the ratio authority. Exact resized variants are optional. When one is not prepared, Studio can render from the source image using the selected crop/fill treatment.
Immediate publishes as soon as you approve. Schedule uses your local time.
Add MP3 or WAV tracks, star favorites so they sit at the top of Production music dropdowns, preview a bed, or delete a track that nothing still uses.
Drop MP3 or WAV files here. WAV files are converted to MP3, then stored in Google Drive Assets/Music, registered as Media Assets, and become selectable in Production.
Opens on the 5 most recent Drive stills and Raw Footage. Each card shows when it was added, file size when known, and clips show duration when known. Change how many show on the page, then use Previous and Next. Add photos or clips, rename a still or clip to refresh classification, or delete an unused Studio upload. Production and the wizard attach from this same catalogue. Published files is a separate list of live Platform Outputs.
Drop photos or video clips here. Files go to Google Drive (photos or video folders), register as Media Assets, and become selectable in Production. Nothing stays on R2.
Open one Control tool at a time from the text links. Autonomous Service Agent has its own page for the guide, desk inventory, and activity log.
Stuck produce, render, crop, autonomous, and public /health counts. Worker cron still self-heals transients. Mode is the desk kill switch.
Loading desk inventory…
When a profile toggle is on, Studio generates a daily batch of ideas around 1:00 a.m. Chicago for that profile only.
Loading profiles…
When a profile toggle is on, Studio harvests Chicago trends, picks one idea the library can shoot, produces the standard template, and stops at Ready for Review. Nothing publishes. Runs around 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Chicago.
Loading autonomous status…
Studio scans the Drive ingestion folder every 10 minutes. If files remain after the first batch, intake keeps going until every file is compressed if needed, recorded, and moved out of the folder. Process intake if you want that drain to start now.
Waiting to start…
Seasonal posting-time and caption guidance from similar accounts. The grid counts their public posts by weekday and Chicago time. Gold marks your upcoming scheduled posts.
Analytics timing loads with Operations.
Caption guidance loads with Operations.
Use Run analytics beside a YouTube handle, Run this platform on a group, or Run sequentially in the toolbar. Sequential runs stay one handle at a time. Instagram timing is paused until the Meta permission issue is fixed. TikTok and Facebook remain reference-only.
No handles yet. Opening Operations seeds the Chicago list Joseph provided, plus researched city/tourism peers.
Approved outputs that still need a post date. Set the time here instead of waiting for a reminder email.
Due packages. Auto-publish still runs from Pipeline review. Use this when you posted by hand and need to mark them published.
Files over 100 MB in the ingestion folder or Asset Manager. Compress runs A1S one file at a time. When a clip finishes, the next oversized file starts immediately, then intake records and moves the compressed file without waiting for the next 10-minute scan. Compress all starts the queue now.
Use these when Remotion moved URL or asset selection failed. They do not run on a clock.
How auto-review and bounded auto-correction work, what you still approve, and where to read the activity log.
The Worker heals transient stuck produce, render, crop, and AZ jobs every two minutes. The desk agent only tickets after that, then may restart a down service or open a cursor/desk-* PR depending on Desk mode. It never auto-publishes.
/health is down. You still Approve publish for library-stills autonomous work, set TikTok covers in the TikTok app, and can change AZ times in Pipeline before they fire. Full instructions are in the Word guide.
Same kill switch as Control. Fingerprints reuse one incident so the same parked job is not five tickets.

Every Studio area has a guide. Open Help from a page to land on that area’s tab.
This is the photo-based path ChicagoShining Studio uses today: write or pick an idea, attach stills, let Studio plan the packages, review the renders, then approve. Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube publish publicly. TikTok is saved as a draft.
Other entry: Home can skip the Ideas table when you start with photos or AI images. Name the piece on Production if needed, and the rest of this walkthrough is the same from step 4.
Home is the start screen. It does not run the pipeline by itself.
Come back here anytime to begin a new piece. The top-bar Profile selector is the city/brand for new work.
Dashboard is the queue overview. Metric cards stay on the page and filter the table under them.
Open an idea or output from the filtered list, or switch to Ideas / Production / Pipeline when you need the full workspace.
Ideas holds Idea Candidates before they become Content Items. Nothing here publishes.
Ready to produce means the idea is in the queue. Promote it here; nothing publishes until Ready for Review → Approve publish.
Production is where photos become a platform plan and a Content Item.
Save often while uploading. Approve & Promote is the handoff into render. Music tracks shown here come from the Music Manager catalogue.
Platform Pipeline is execution plus creative review. It refreshes while the page is open.
Publishing stays locked until that approve step. Preview-approve (when shown) records review without posting.
Music Manager is the Airtable background-music catalogue plus tracks you add as MP3 or WAV files.
Asset Manager is the Drive DAM catalogue of stills and Raw Footage. Music stays on its own tab.
Operations is the control room. The sidebar item is limited to tenant admin, publishing, and production-configure roles. Use Control for daily jobs and queues. Use Autonomous Service Agent for the desk guide, stuck inventory, and activity log. Refresh reloads the current page from the API.
Control buttons pulse on-demand work when something is waiting. They do not turn interval scanners back on.

The desk watches stuck Studio work after the Worker has already tried to heal it. Open it from Operations → Control → Service desk, or Operations → Autonomous Service Agent.
desk_incident ticket. Depending on Desk mode it may restart a down local service or open a cursor/desk-* pull request. It never Approves publish and never sets a video-frame cover when a 3D grid cover is required. The same selector appears on Control and on the Agent inventory tab. Missing value is observe.
Counts cover stuck produce, render, crop, autonomous, intake parked, and public health. A fingerprint is kind + record + error class. The same parked job reuses one incident instead of five tickets. A fingerprint that repeats within 24 hours emails Joseph and stops; it does not open another PR.
You still Approve publish for library-stills autonomous work. Finished-video (AZ) may auto-schedule; you can still change or cancel times in Pipeline before they fire. TikTok covers are set in the TikTok app.
Studio testing means proving a path to Ready for Review without posting live, unless you explicitly Approve. Operations is where you pulse a run; Pipeline is where you inspect the result.
cover_url and do not fall back to a video-frame offset./health on each hostname is the desk’s infra signal. Restart one service at a time.Seeded matrix or e2e outputs are review fixtures until you say otherwise. Do not Approve leftover test content from an old run.
Logs for Operations live in Studio first. Worker heals that succeed quietly do not show up as desk tickets.
Operations → Autonomous Service Agent → Activity log. This is the operator view. It has two lists:
desk_incident tickets (agent 3, task 1). Each row is a fingerprint, class, record, and diagnosis after Worker heal did not clear the job.The durable store behind those lists is the Task Organizer activity log. That page is the event history, not the API schema. /docs is only OpenAPI. Worker transient heals are not copied here.
Production deploys and PR checks write run logs on GitHub:
If a Pages or Worker deploy fails, read that Actions run before pulsing Make or re-running autonomous produce. Local companion deploy logs stay on this Windows machine under Deployment Logs.
